I'm sorry, but it seemed like a minor miracle to me that it wasn't pouring cats and dogs on Halloween (like it was every day leading up to it!)
We had a great time trick-or-treating. Boo had to be forcibly shoved into his costume and dragged to the first house, but once he saw the candy, he was totally on board. (He's 3. You'd think he would have figured this all out by now.) He did pretty well on the "trick-or-treat"s and "thank you"s, but at one house he went up to the door and said, "I want a piece of candy!" That's my children - always so polite.
I came back twice to refill the candy bowl on our porch, but by 8:30, we had to suffer the shame of turning off our porch light. I thought I had enough candy - dang!
We turned our light off at 8:30 too. I saw you across the street once, but Tyler had a mind of his own and was off to the next house. He also tried to take your entire bowl when we got to your house. He literally picked it up! I made sure he only took 2 pieces though! =)
ReplyDeleteThose are great pics. This year was our 8th here in WA (we spent one Halloween in San Diego back when Sarah was 4). It hasn't rained once. Definitely a miracle for the kiddos!
ReplyDeleteWe turned our lights off about 8:15... by then all that were coming by were high school kids, anyway. :o)
ReplyDeleteCute costumes!
Great pictures : ) My skeleton dolls kinda creep me out too...but yeah, it's kinda the point. I think I'm going to add a feather boa to one, and a top hat & bow tie to another & get rid of the third.
ReplyDeleteSo glad the kids had a great halloween they look so cute! home in two days love ya
