Christmas - Woo-hoo!

Want to do something super fun and small-town Christmasy? Come to the FESTIVAL OF CHIMES AND LIGHTS in Port Orchard. We went last year, and it was awesome. Honestly, every time I go downtown (to pay my weekly book-ransoms to the library), I just revel in the cuteness of all the Christmas lights, complete with red bows.

The festival was great last year, and that was with me being pregnant and husbandless (doesn't that sound scandalous?) It HAS to be even better with him. Right? :)

  1. The only time I ever went I was also husbandless and my eldest child was singing with her school choir. We had to park in the back of beyond, then I had to run with a stroller and two little girls (number four wasn't born yet) to get her with her group on time. It was freezing butt cold and it seemed like it lasted forever. Somehow, I never made it back...

  2. The Julefest in Poulsbo is a fun cultural experience, too, complete with Vikings and Santa Lucia. And sometimes the bonfire works. Check it out!
