My husband finally came home from Hawaii! It's so much easier to love your spouse when they aren't texting you pictures of giant sea turtles and tropical beaches. ;) Plus he brought me presents!
A giant bag of the instant version of my favorite Hawaiian dessert....which apparently no one but me likes.
I am sort of a sucker for anything coconut flavored. Besides, instant haupia is SO GREAT for cutting into adorable shapes - doesn't stick to anything!
Tony also found some amazing Totoro bags from the flea market.
Aren't the soot sprites adorable!
Cozy got the backpack
Fluffy and helpful - just like the "real" Totoro.
I got a little hassle for not keeping my blog up for my husband while he was away. (Not smart to alienate one of my most devoted readers.) So, now that "birthday season" is over, I'm getting right on that. Stay tuned.
Tony has excellent taste in presents! Can't wait to hear about birthdays and zombies and such.
ReplyDeleteIf the coconut obsession is genetic you can blame your parents. I think you got a double dose from us. Caribbean Coconut is our favorite gelato flavor. I made coconut cream pie when we fed the missionaries the other night and I shredded close to an entire coconut into the filling.
ReplyDeleteI like the part about how much easier it is to love your husband when he's not sending you pictures from Hawaii!!! Love you Lia!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who sends pictures of what is happening at her house, when her husband sends pictures of what he's doing while away. I think it might backfire, though. She tends to send tantrum pics.
ReplyDeleteWait, I thought you were coming out here...did I miss you???
ReplyDeleteThe kids and I are going at the end of July, so don't worry! :)
DeleteOh good...be sure to give me a head's up so we can have you over for dinner!
