It's Halloween-ish Time Again

It's that time of year again.
The kids got all dressed up to Trunk-or-Treat in the church parking lot.
(Except Sofia, who ditched us to attend her THIRD Halloween party this year. Nerd. ...but I'm not bitter.)

Cozy was excited to wear her Little Red Riding Hood costume. Lucky for me she doesn't remember wearing it two years ago. That lovely toddler amnesia.

Looking sweet...

...and then the "Super Cozy" version...because there was a cape involved.

Red, getting a piggy back ride from the big, bad wolf, otherwise known as Anthony.

Sofia, being a lame hipster. Literally. That was her costume...because she was too lazy to get back into the "Sally" (from The Nightmare Before Christmas) costume she made for her first party.

Annika, as Miss Lemon, the extremely reliable, organized, and well-dressed secretary of Agatha Christie detective, Hercule Poirot.

Jon, a druid, from a video game. I think this is his "summoning a spirit wolf" pose?

Isn't it an adorable spirit wolf!? So fluffy!

James, ninja in crocs, busting out all kinds of ninja moves.

Candy was got by all. I think they ate it for breakfast the next morning....cause I'm a good mom.
There was even ice cream cake, cider and hot cocoa. Yea.

And tomorrow night is round two - kids Vs. the neighborhood.

  1. Cute costumes! I wouldn't have guessed Annika to be a Poirot fan. That is such a young age to be taking an interest in mayhem and murder. Maybe she gets that from her Grandma Linda.
