I just love me some theme gifts, so when we decided to give our cousins The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game (Cozy's fave!) , I had to come up with some accessories for it.
...like finger puppet kits....
...and a redecorated olive jar....
(We don't actually recommend feeding peppermint m&ms to squirrels....just squirrely little kids.)
...and squirrel earrings.
(I know. They are some pretty weird-looking squirrels, but you try and find squirrel earrings. They're the lazy man's version of a Ms. Frizzle dress.)
And that was my bizarre theme of the year.
You are the bestest best gift giver! Even John likes playing sneaky, snacky squirrel, although he's having a hard time using the squirrel. Mostly he just steals acorns. And did I ever tell you about one of the most important parts of being a librarian? A good librarian must always have crazy earrings. I put them on right away! Are you going to make a post just for my awesome librarian kit? I want to hear a story about how you came up with it. I love it!
