This is a the lovely needle case I made for part of Annika's Christmas present.

The first FIVE people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It'll be done this year. (might be a little while)
4- You have no clue what it's going to be.It may be a story. It may be poetry, shoes, bags, or a little invention of my own! I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. Believe me... it may blow your mind!

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!

Sounds like fun, right? So, let's play!
WARNING FROM ANNALIA: IF YOU ARE A BOY, IT WILL PROBABLY BE EITHER FOOD OR SOMETHING YOU WILL WANT TO REGIFT. :) SORRY.

And since I'm going to do this, I guess I'd better finish my last give-away first...coming soon!

  2. Hi Lia. You're my "adopted daughter" from years and years ago. I love all the creative things you and your sisters do (& your mom, of course). I love you girls SO much! God bless you all (& your families). Candy

  3. You are so creative! Every year I put up the Christmas stocking that you made for me on my mission. And remember that awesome stained glass design that you did in college? I loved the fingers on it. Anyhow, I bet Annika loves that needle holder. It is great getting homemade gifts.
So I make things for the first 5 people on my blog? I haven't posted it yet, because I wasn't sure that I understood it right. Is that how it goes?
btw, if your goal is to get something accomplished, then why are you making more undone projects by doing a giveaway?!

  4. Projects are perpetual (for me at least), so I'm not sure that you ever actually accomplish anything when you complete them.
I'm so happy that you still have something I made you! I only vaguely remember making you a stocking...but I also forgot that Becky was there for the birth of my 1st child...so go figure.
You make something for the first 5 people who comment and are going to do a give away on their blogs. Verstehst du?

  5. Oooh, I want to play! I just basically copy your instructions and post them on my blog, then make something for the first 5 people who comment? I'm not sure I understand the rules!!

The needle case is adorable! You are so creative!

No, NYC didn't eat me...I'm still here. Thanks for your concern, and I should be around more regularly for a while...no more month-long road trips planned for the near future, anyway! :)
