A Blue One

My new camera is in the mail.

We ended up not ordering a super-shock-absorbing model, but Tony did do lots and lots of research (after my last irritatingly unsatisfactory camera...that he suspects I intentionally broke). I was saying, "Please, can we stop watching reviews on cnet! It's so boring.)

My requirements:
-faster
-can take pictures without bright daylight
-fits in my pocket
...I would have preferred yellow or orange, but settled for blue.

The only bad thing is - I'm supposed to pick it up from Walmart....you know....the one that just had a shoot-out in the parking lot. Yea, in tiny Port Orchard. It isn't even a Super Walmart! They don't even lock up the baby formula there(like they did in SC)!

I guess I was going to have to brave it sooner or later...but the kids are staying home.

Once the camera is safely retrieved...new cute stuff!

  1. Yikes! I thought the Bremerton Walmart was scary. Be sure your camera is ready to collect evidence as you leave!

  2. Maybe we don't want a Walmart in Monroe! And I thought the strip club in Monroe was a bad idea for those sorts of reasons... Good luck! And may your camera be much much better than the last one. (You deserve it after watching cnet reviews)

  3. T: The Bremerton Walmart IS scary! :)

Beth: I'm thinking it was just a random crazy person thing...still...I shop there! ....and I'd rather have a Walmart than a strip club (though we have a strip club and a nudey coffee place nearby in Gorst. Oh, the class!)

  4. Yay on the new camera! That's a hard thing to be without. Yeah, the Walmart thing was probably just a random crazy person, but that still sounds scary!

I so did NOT need to know that there is such a thing as a nudey coffee place. While I think nudey places in general are just all sorts of wrong, combining nudity with hot coffee seems particularly dangerous.

  5. Jenny: Even worse...it's a drive-thru nudey coffee place. Even more demeaning to women - in winter! (Not visible from street!)
