My Fail

Hey, nobody's perfect. In my defense, these were all root stock when I planted them (minus the impatiens.....so I'm actually quite grateful they grew at all). It's much harder to arrange plants you can't see.

The results are just weird-looking. Still I'm not going to mess with them this year. I'll just let them grow and get established. Then I'll rearrange them all when they come up next Spring.

I am at least happy with how they're growing. :)

  1. I love your garden updates! I can't believe you have grown such beautiful, wonderful veggies already! Well, coming from you, I can believe it but I just didn't realize that it was possible. Is it our area or me? When did you plant the broccoli and cauliflower? What is growing in your part shade garden? I have some of those spots and need ideas.

  2. Are those astilbe? So pretty. I've never had any luck with root stock at all. Everything has died. Except maybe some grapes. Of course, they lived for several years and then died in our heat stroke last year.
