I admit it. I've always been a bit of a rebel, and now I'm a hardcore rule-breaker. I hung up a clothes line in my back yard, which is completely prohibidado in my neighborhood. I'm just trying to be a nice enough neighbor that no one turns me in.
My dryer appeared to be broken (in other words, not drying anything), so I rushed out and bought this small clothes line. Thank goodness Tony is smarter than me. He changed the settings on the dryer and WHALAA...it works again. The clothes line is cute anyhow.
my sister LOVES line drying her clothes. Her dryer broke too and she's not in a rush to replace it.
ReplyDeleteOh, Lia I think you should always leave those blue clothe up.
ReplyDeleteI would, but then what would James wear?
ReplyDeleteCool clothes line. I think I want to get one too. Where did find yours?
ReplyDeleteI didn't do it this summer, but last year I hung my laundry outside a ton. I loved it--I felt like I was playing house : )
ReplyDeleteOh, I just noticed your line--I have that same one. I actually put it up in the laundry room, for when just a couple of things are still not quite dry (or when I want to line dry without going outside, of course).
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to have a clothes line! It really is super cute. Why would a homeowners associatin outlaw such a great opportunity to help use less energy during times as green as these?
ReplyDeleteThat's so lame that you're not allowed to line dry. Back in my single, schoolteaching days, the dryer in our townhouse broke, so my roommate and I used a clothes line for awhile. I hung up my nice, rich colored polo shirts by the hem, and the Virginia sunshine bleached a line an inch from the bottom on all of them...
ReplyDeleteThose little shirts are adorable hanging there!
