This is the third year straight that Sofia has made her own costume. I love it. Unlike the time she was Skitty, She didn't even need (or want) my help this year.
Unhappy with her first Gahoolish headress (though I suspect it was just a comfort issue)...
...She ended up with a simpler owlish look. My one disappointment - she chickened out of wearing the feather fake lashes we bought. They were AWESOME!
I planned and planned to sew Cozy's gnome costume right up until Halloween eve - when it became obvious that I didn't have time. Who knew they'd have one at Target anyhow?!
Cutest gnome ever - if I do say so myself! And, once I gave her a piece of candy, she forgot all about trying to take off her hat. :)
Boo went as "Iron Man Boy", but sometimes he tells me, "I'm just Tony Stark!" (Jeesh, Mom!) It was so fun watching him literally run from door to door with his little robot friend!
At one point, Boo put on his mask. His friend saw that as the cue to begin a robot vs. iron man battle.
Robot: Iron Man! Let's fight! (pow!)
Boo (in a hurt voice): You're a mean robot!
I need to help Boo work on his trash-talking. Big time.
Jon was a ninja. Pretty typical, but he embraced the role.
Annika was the first ever red-haired Cleopatra. She kept striking regal poses whenever she saw the camera veer her way.
...and Anthony asked, "Wanna buy a watch?" at every door he went to.
I was dressed up as me. Good times.
Awesome costumes! Sofia's is just amazing -- what a talented girl! And your little Cozy gnome is too cute for words.
ReplyDeleteEach year I have the same costume: Frumpy Hausfrau. ;-)
ahh the feather lashes would have been AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteCozy makes the cutest gnome ever! (I bought that for 90 cents the other day, along with the boy version)
Every time I saw a girl with that cleopatra costume on- I drooled- I loved it!
A salesman! Hilarious! Im doing that next year...
Oh, the cutest grandkids in the world! Thanks for making my day! Cozy has earned herself a place on my blog, people are going to think I'm partial with her and sofia but hey the best pictures get the firstest!
ReplyDeleteYour kids have the most awesome costumes I saw this Halloween! (I didn't actually go out trick or treating, though, so that just means cooler than my kids.) James says Cozy is the cutest gnome he's ever seen. And Anthony made me laugh out loud. I love how wonderfully individual your kids are.
ReplyDeleteYou have the most creative kids. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI really thought you made the gnome costume! You should have just lied. We wouldn't have given it a second thought! I love all the costumes. Annika strikes me as being a wonderful actress. She could be the old fashioned kind, you know, that could really act, really sing, and really dance. :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent job. And Cozette really is amazingly adorable.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh I miss you guys! Amazing job, Sofia! Anthony-glad you put my wool hat to good use, lol your costume is awesome
