A New Curtain

When we first looked at this house, I dubbed the kitched color "headache yellow". I konw - I love yellow - but I would never paint an entire room this bright yellow shade....at least not intentionally.

Still, after being here for a few weeks (and running out of painting energy), the color has grown on me.

When I unearthed my old laundry room curtain from our last house, I knew it was meant to be. I put it up on the kitchen door.



Since then, I've been wanting to put something up on the small kitchen window too. Made something last night. Maybe it'll grow on me, like the kitchen paint color did?

    I love it. Both curtains are cute and whimsical. I may use your curtains as inspiration in my own kitchen.

    I am a big fan of yellow kitchens. Mine is currently Banana Cream by Behr. My last kitchen was almost the exact color of country crock.
